The "Centro Italiano dell'Année Philologique" (CIAPh), founded in 1995, is the italian office of the Année Philologique (APh), the well known reference bibliography for scholars of Greek and Latin antiquity. CIAPh is seat at the Dipartimento di Antichità, Filosofia, Storia, Geografia - DAFIST of the University of Genova, with two other work groups at the Dipartimento di Filologia Classica e Italianistica - FICLIT of the University of Bologna and at the Dipartimento di Musicologia e Beni Culturali of the University of Pavia. CIAPh benefits from the financial support if the Ministry MIUR (PRIN-COFIN 2002, 2004, 2007 and 2009). In cooperation with the international staff of the Année Philologique by means of a computer network, the Italian Centre is in charge of the indexing of the entire classical bibliography produced in Italy. Over 200 periodicals and several hundreds of monographs and miscellanies are analyzed each year.
